This was printed on a flatbed offset press.

The print was commissioned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for sale in the museum's Mezzanine Gallery.  The museum publishes several prints a year.  A committee composed of museum and Mezzanine Gallery staff decides which artists will be asked to participate.  Artists are always already represented in the museum's collections.  One print from each edition is accessioned by the museum as a gift of the artist.  Artists who have participated include Louisa Chase, Sandro Chia, Nancy Graves, Al Held, David Hockney, Robert Indiana, Yvonne Jacquette, Alex Katz, Ellsworth Kelly, Philip Pearlstein, Beverly Pepper, Larry Rivers, George Segal, and Donald Sultan.
