The portfolio is housed in a gray cloth-covered box with maroon paper inner panels and a maroon '9' (designed by Richard Lindner) on the cover.  The introduction for the portfolio was written by Una E. Johnson, Included are lithographs by Willem de Kooning, Sam Francis, Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Lindner, Robert Motherwell, Louise Nevelson, Henry Pearson, and Saul Steinberg.

Irwin Hollander described this print as 'pure, simple lithography,' with tusche squeegeed through a grid directly onto the plate to create the dots (Hollander, telephone conversation with Corlett, March 11, 1993).
